Our menus combine contemporary techniques with classic flavors, using only the highest-quality ingredients sourced from local farmers and purveyors. Brasserie favorites like steak and tartare share the menu with bold vegetable-forward dishes that reflect Chef Fraser’s signature style. His culinary philosophy is reflected throughout the menu, where seasonal dishes featuring locally sourced produce take center stage, with vegetables leading the way.
Our beverage program, curated by Beverage Director and Advanced Sommelier Amy Racine, features an award-winning wine list that showcases responsible and healthy wine-making practices. We also offer an extensive selection of handcrafted cocktails, local beers and ciders, and spirit-free options.
Chef John Fraser
John Fraser is an American chef and restaurateur known for his vegetable-forward approach to modern American cuisine. Originally from Los Angeles, Fraser draws inspiration from Mediterranean flavors and the produce-driven cooking style of California, which helped shape his philosophy in the kitchen.
In 2007, Fraser founded JF Restaurants, a New York City–based hospitality group focused on creating thoughtful, full-service dining experiences. The group now operates more than 15 restaurant concepts across the United States, including locations in New York, Boston, Tampa, and Southold on Long Island.
Fraser’s restaurants have received widespread critical recognition. His former restaurant, Dovetail, earned a Michelin star for eight consecutive years, while NIX also received a Michelin star. More recently, the team behind Lilac was awarded a Michelin star along with the prestigious Michelin Service Award.
Several of Fraser’s restaurants have also earned top ratings from The New York Times. Dovetail and 701West received three stars, while NIX, The Loyal, and Narcissa earned two stars. His other NYC restaurant, IRIS, has been widely praised by critics, including recognition from Esquire as one of the best restaurants in the United States and high rankings from The New York Times.
Today, Chef John Fraser continues to expand his culinary vision while leading some of the country’s most iconic dining destinations.
